VITEX hydrosol

VITEX Hydrolat is the "cool down" for body and mind.
While the tincture works from within, the hydrosol acts as a gentle regulator from the outside. Chaste tree (Vitex agnus-castus) is known not only for its ability to regulate the body's natural rhythms but also for its clarifying properties on the skin. This hydrosol is the ideal companion during periods when the body feels "heated up"—whether due to summer temperatures, hot flashes during menopause, or emotional tension before menstruation. The plant: On Fartàritx, chaste tree grows wild and in cultivated gardens. For the hydrosol, we distill the shoot tips, leaves, and seeds when the plant is at its peak sap flow.

Production: The hydrosol is produced through gentle steam distillation in our copper still. We do not remove any essential oil – this means that the full spectrum of water-soluble plant compounds and a fine trace of the valuable essential oil remain in the water.

Your ritual of clarity:

For the skin (toner): Spray it on your face morning and evening after cleansing. It has an astringent (tightening) effect and helps to refine the complexion – especially in the second half of your cycle, when your skin is prone to blemishes.

SOS in the heat: Keep a bottle handy (preferably straight from the fridge!). When hot flashes occur, spray generously on your décolletage, neck, and wrists. The evaporative cooling effect combined with the power of the plants provides immediate relief.

For your aura: If you feel irritable or unfocused: Spray once over your head and inhale deeply. The herbal scent will bring you back to the present moment.

Storage & Shelf Life: As this is a purely natural product without artificial preservatives, proper storage is essential:

Please store in a cool, dark place (ideally in the refrigerator).
