The Universe in a Bud: The Return of Gemmotherapy

Das Universum in einer Knospe: Die Rückkehr der Gemmotherapie

Spring is more than just a season – it's a feeling. It's the time when nature takes a deep breath and prepares for a new cycle. To coincide with this awakening, we have wonderful news from our manufactory: our freshly made gemmo macerates are back.

All four varieties are now available again to accompany you through your personal spring. But what makes these essences so special?

A promise to life

Every tiny bud holds a great promise: growth, pure vitality, and renewal.

Long before a tree blossoms or bears leaves, nature concentrates all its energy in the buds. They already contain the plant's entire potential – the complete blueprint, the vitality, and the information for what is to come. In gemmotherapy (from the Latin gemma = bud), we utilize precisely this concentrated, protected essence. It is the "stem cell therapy" of the plant world.

From Hildegard to the modern era

We didn't invent gemmotherapy, but we honor it. This gentle yet powerful form of plant medicine has deep roots. Even in the Middle Ages, healers like Hildegard von Bingen described the special power of young shoots.

But this knowledge was forgotten until the Belgian physician Dr. Pol Henry rediscovered it in the 20th century. He recognized that the embryonic tissue of the buds contains active ingredients that are no longer found in the mature plant. He transformed this ancient knowledge into a unique and fascinating form of therapy.

The wild energy of the Tramuntana

Our gemmo macerates are a fusion of this scientific tradition and the untamed soul of Mallorca. The buds we use have absorbed the sun, the wind, and the pure energy of Fartàritx and the Serra de Tramuntana mountains .

We invite you to harness this power. Whether you are seeking inner peace, wish to cleanse your body, or need renewed energy: the buds are ready.

For your new beginning. For your balance. For your vitality.
